• The Makita® 18 V LXT® lithium-ion cordless fan (model DCF203Z) is a powerful and portable solution for painters, contractors and more. The DCF203Z has three settings for optimal air velocity control. It can be powered by Makita® 18 V LXT® lithium-ion batteries or an AC adapter. The fan automatically oscillates 45 deg right and left and manually tilts 90 deg up and 45 deg down for convenience redirection of air flow. It's part of Makita® expanding 18 V LXT® system, the world's largest cordless tool system powered by 18 V lithium-ion batteries. Makita® 18 V LXT® lithium-ion batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita® created Star Protection Computer Controls™. Star Protection is communication technology that allows the Star Protection equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against over loading, over discharging and over heating.
