• Performa PTFE is an ultra-dry lubricant containing a synthetic PTFE polymer. It offers superior adhesion to metal and wood surfaces. When used as a lubricant, Performa PTFE reduces friction, wear and energy consumption of machines. It moves moisture and lubricates where wet lubricants can not be used. Performa PTFE reduces wear between moving parts. It is mainly used where silicon-based lubricants are not tolerated due to the risk of airborne contamination. Because Performa PTFE is not an oil based product, it is ideal for sawing trays, miter saws and all woodworking equipment. It will not damage the wood.
