• As a low-carbon product, this wire contains 0.06 to 0.08% carbon content, as opposed to the 0.28% content with high-tensile wire. This variation means the low carbon wire will be easier to work with, but also prone to sagging and elongation over the years, requiring and periodic tensioning and more maintenance. Our classic Field Fence products are offered in various gauges from 12.5 to 9 g. To deter small animals, our field fence products feature gradual openings at the bottom of the fence, our fence design chart demonstrates the gradual openings for each fence design.
