To keep the gate open, just push the door past 90 deg and the hold-open feature will kick-in, preventing closure. The Toddleroo WoodCraft Steel® gate pressure mounts simply by using tension knobs to lock the gate in place. This baby gate stands 30 in tall and fits room openings between 29-3/4 to 40-1/2 in wide using two included extensions.
