- bullet: In scanning mode, the color of the light panel (red, green or blue) and the beeper speed (fast, silent or slow) indicate whether the target is above, within or below the reference temperature +/- the setpoint bandwidth
- bullet: Choice of three setpoint bandwidths 1, 5 and 10 deg F (0.5, 3, 5.5 deg C)
- bullet: Squeezing and holding the trigger captures a reference temperature and launches scan mode
- bullet: Unique star burst laser targeting system helps to approximate the target/spot size
