Stainless steel flushing (green color-coded) pressure washer spray nozzle with 4 mm orifice and 1/4 in (6.35 mm) Quick-Connect (QC) plug. Flushing (green) QC spray nozzles have a 25 deg spray pattern for standard cleaning for most applications, including yard tools, sidewalks, lawn furniture, unpainted siding, stucco, gutters and eaves, concrete, and brick surfaces. Ideal for sweeping leaves from walks, curbs and driveways, cleaning stable floors, washing swimming pool bottoms, cleaning barbecue grills, etc. The orifice size of the nozzle determines the operating pressure of the end user's machine. Generally, the smaller the orifice, the greater the restriction of water flowing through the pressure washer. This causes the pressure to increase. Choosing a nozzle with too large an orifice will reduce operating pressure. Choosing a nozzle with too small of an orifice will limit water flow and possibly create an excessive load on the pressure washer. Determining the correct spray nozzle orifice size is dependent on the gallons per minute (gpm) and pressure per square inch (psi) ratings of the pressure washer being used. As a general rule, QC spray nozzles with 4 mm orifices work excellent on pressure washers-rated between 500 psi with 1.4 gpm (low end) to 8000 psi with 5.7 gpm (high-end). For pressure washers in-between the low end and high-end, the recommended orifice size is roughly proportional from low end to high-end. The spray nozzle is designed to easily connect to a 1/4 in (6.35 mm) QC coupler and is ideal for quick exchange of spray nozzles and spray guns. It connects to all of the most common pressure washer equipment in the industry.
