• It's simple - treat weeds and feed your lawn with Scotts® Turf Builder® WinterGuard® fall weed and feed5 in the fall for a better lawn next spring. This weed killer plus lawn fertilizer controls over 50 listed lawn weeds, including clover, dandelion, plantain, morningglory, chicory, evening primrose and purslane. Scotts® Turf Builder® WinterGuard® fall weed and feed5 can be used on bahiagrass, Bermuda grass, bluegrass, centipedegrass, fescue, ryegrass or zoysiagrass. Apply on a calm day when weeds are actively growing and temperatures are consistently between 60 deg F and 90 deg F. Make sure your grass is wet from dew or watering, as this helps particles adhere to weed leaves to produce the excellent results. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3-3/4 in. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 7-1/4 in. For Scotts® Wizz® spreader, use a setting of 4-1/4 in. For Scotts® elite spreader, use a setting of 4-1/4 in. Do not water your lawn for 24 hr after application or apply if rain is expected within the next 24 hr. One 11.28 lb bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® WinterGuard® fall weed and feed covers 4000 sq-ft.
